The cottage has since gone through a number of additions and renovations and has housed a good\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"color: #800080;\">number of Talkeetna families before opening as a guesthouse (formerly called Carol\u2019s Cottage) in 2006.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800080;\">Located one street off Main Street in downtown Talkeetna, the Talkeetna Dragonfly Guest Cottage borders Talkeetna\u2019s treasured historic district and is easy walking distance (less than a minute in some cases) to gift shops and restaurants as well as both the Talkeetna and Susitna rivers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800080;\">The Susitna Summer Suite (room 1 calendar) is the Dragonfly\u2019s private ground floor suite and offers a comfortable living room with satellite TV, a full kitchen and bath, wireless high speed internet and one bedroom with queen bed and a second bedroom with a full bed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800080;\">The Window Tree Walk-up (room 2 calendar) is our second floor mini suite with private entrance at the back of the cottage. Light and airy, the suite offers a separate bedroom with queen bed, a full bath and a living area with a kitchenette. Wifi, DVD player (no satellite). As the name implies, guests need to climb a set of stairs (as well as carry bags to the back of the cottage), and we do not recommend the suite for travelers with mobility issues. A gate is provided at the top of the stairs for travelers with young children.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800080;\">Large party?
